Preet Dhillon is a man who has accomplished a lot in many different arenas of life—academics, business, and religion. In 1999 he graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics Engineering. If you don’t know what Geomatics Engineering is—join the club. Basically, it’s a discipline that focuses on spatial information. A very wide range of data is used for viewing and analysis, the location being the primary factor in the data and analysis. Geomatics engineers use engineering principles to extrapolate information from spatial data. Whether the data is local, regional, national or global, Geomatics Engineers find uses for it.
For the last five years Preet Dhillon has been involved with the Robbins Research Institute. He graduated from their Mastery University, too. It isn’t just intellectual pursuits, though, that Preet Dhillon pushes himself in. He’s a marathon runner and mountain climber, too. The last mountain he climbed was the 4th highest mountain of the seven summits—Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.
Preet and his wife Brenda attend the church that Joel Osteen is minister of. Lakewood Church in Houston is a non-denominational mega-church that averages around 43,500 in attendance per week. He and his wife are involved in a number of charities and recently adopted two families from La Rosa, which is a community non-profit organization to assist families who have been exposed to domestic abuse.
